"Developing Kingdom Ambassadors..." II Corinthians 5:20

New Mount Zion Baptist Church

The 2016 Orangeburg Community Thanksgiving Feast and Praise was held on Thanksgiving Day from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., in Wannamaker Hall at St. Paul United Methodist Church.
This was the eighth year for this event. This endeavor is spearheaded by a faith based committee comprised of seven churches in the Orangeburg Community. New Mount Zion Baptist Church has been involved in this community outreach initiative since its inception in October 2009. The other churches are Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Cornerstone Fellowship Church, First Presbyterian Church, Kingdom Life Ministries, Exodus Baptist Church, and Unity Fellowship Community Church. The mission of this group is to share the message of salvation in Jesus Christ by offering tangible food to nourish the body and the hope of salvation to feed the soul. This event continues to
grow. This year we served 545 people and volunteers representing seventeen churches were in attendance. To God be the Glory.
